A leak was repaired overnight and water is back on. It will take time for all lines and towers to fill back up. At this time we do not know if water will be shut back off this evening. Will post more as information becomes available.

Until pressure builds up at the plant water will continue to be shut off every day, the duration will be a few hours. We do not have a specific time frame during the day as to when this will be; and do not have a time frame for when the plant will no longer have to do this.

Water pressure today is no better. When we have another up-date we will send out another alert.

Pittsburg County Water Authority will be shutting water off in effort to to conserve what is available so the plant can operate and get towers filled back up. Estimated time is midnight, as long as everything goes right. All Adamson water customers will be effected. Thank you for being patient and we do apologize for the inconvenience.

Adamson Rural Water District #8 has issued a voluntary precautionary boil order for all Adamson Rural Water #8 customers, in effect until further notice.
As a precaution, bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, washing produce, or brushing teeth.
Bottled water may be used instead.
This notice will be up-dated as soon as the order is lifted.

Pittsburg County Water Authority is still having issues with water. We have customers still without water.Because of this and you have brown water we are not able to flush lines until we get them back in water and pressure to do so. We are working on getting customers water first! We have no estimated time on water outage.We will inform when PCWA lets us know more.We are trying to call customers back please be pateint.We are sorry for the inconvenience.
