PCWA is shutting water off.

Pittsburg County Water Authority will be shutting water off in effort to to conserve what is available so the plant can operate and get towers filled back up. Estimated time is midnight, as long as everything goes right. All Adamson water customers will be effected. Thank you for being patient and we do apologize for the inconvenience.

Precautionary Boil Order

August 11, 2026

Adamson Rural Water District #8 has issued a voluntary precautionary boil order for all Adamson Rural Water #8 customers, in effect until further notice.  

As a precaution, bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, washing produce, or brushing teeth.  

Bottled water may be used instead.  

This notice will be up-dated as soon as the order is lifted.
